When you subscribe, Stripe collects your name, email address, and payment details. We receive your name, email address, and subscription status from Stripe. We do not see or store your card number. We use your email address to deliver the digest and to respond when you write to us.
This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and understand which pages are used. Google Analytics sets cookies and records your approximate location, device type, and pages viewed. You can block these cookies in your browser without affecting the site.
We do not sell or rent your information. We do not send marketing on behalf of anyone else. We do not add you to any list other than the digest you subscribed to.
The digest is built from public records published by the California State Water Resources Control Board on the California Open Data Portal. The contact details it contains were submitted by permit filers as part of a public regulatory filing. If you are a filer and believe a record is wrong, the correction belongs with the State Water Board, since we republish what they publish.
You can cancel at any time by replying to any issue or through the Stripe billing link in your receipt. You can ask us to delete your account records by emailing [email protected]. California residents have rights under the CCPA to know, delete, and opt out of the sale of personal information; we do not sell personal information, and you can exercise the other rights by email.
